Athens City Schools Board of Education will meet on Thursday, April 23, at 5:30 PM in the Central Office Board Room.

Bus service is available only for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Bus service is not available for students at Athens High School, Athens Renaissance School, or Pre-K.

FOCUS ZONE Starting this fall, the Alabama FOCUS Act goes into effect in ALL public schools —including Athens City Schools! This new state law restricts the use of cell phones, smartwatches, AirPods, and other wireless communication devices during the school day.

In order to comply with the Code of Alabama, Section 16-6B-7 Accountability Law, Athens City Schools is making available financial, student achievement and school safety/discipline reports.
