STEAM Studios
ARS STEAM Studios
Here at Athens Renaissance School, we are incorporating science, technology, engineering, arts, and math into real-world learning through project-based learning experiences for students. Our STEAM Studio offerings allow students to engage with a variety of skills connected to different professional fields in the areas of culinary arts, digital communications, engineering, coding, fine arts, science, and more.
Each year, 6th through 12th grade students can sign up to participate in STEAM Studios sessions throughout the year. Watch the ARS Newsletter for sign-up information!
Robotics
Students participating in our FIRST Robotics program design, program, and build industrial-sized robots to play an action-packed game, released in January. They compete on a themed field as part of a three-team alliance in the spirit of Coopertition®.
In 360-degree learning guided by adult mentors, each FIRST Robotics Competition team also creates a team identity, raises funds to meet its goals, and advances appreciation for STEM in its community.
Graphic Design
Students in our Graphic Design Studio get hands-on experience learning to use software and equipment such as laser cutters, vinyl cutters, heat presses, sublimation printers, wide format printers, Adobe Creative Cloud software and more.
