We are so glad you are considering Athens Renaissance School for your child's educational journey! Our staff is here to guide you through every step of the enrollment process. Review our enrollment process to learn how to request enrollment at ARS.

Enrollment Process

Step One: Interest Form

Complete the Interest Form linked below.

Step Two: Potential Opening

• As openings are identified, parents will be contacted in the order of interest form submissions.
• That email will contain a link for you to complete a PowerSchool Enrollment Request Form. You will be required to upload documents (proof of residency, progress reports, end of the year report card, parent/guardian drivers license, etc.)
• This is not an approval. Please do not withdraw from your previous school.
• After the Enrollment Request is submitted with all of the required documents, the enrollment team will begin the review process.
• If we need additional information or documentation someone will reach out to you.
• Once the enrollment team approves your request, you will receive a New Student/Welcome email with new student instructions on how to proceed with the withdrawal process from your current school.

Our enrollment team does not work everyday so it may take some time to hear back from us. We understand you will be anxious to hear from us, and we ask for your patience. We will be sure to contact you as soon as possible.

Step 3: Enrollment

Once you get your New Student/Welcome email:

• You will receive directions on how to withdraw from your previous school and what to do with that withdrawal form.
• Pathway selections are made first by our currently enrolled students. Pathways for incoming students will then be assigned based on availability. You will receive an email indicating what pathway you have been assigned at a later date once all current student pathway selections have been finalized.
• Later in the summer, you will begin receiving a link to the ARS Newsletter each Friday afternoon. The newsletter contains important updates and information about everything happening at ARS. It is a vital part of our communication  and we strongly encourage all parents to read it each week. You will also receive information about our Open House and upcoming information sessions through the newsletter.
• In August, you will receive a Welcome Letter email from your child's homeroom teacher with all the information about how to get started online with ARS. If your student is in grades 6-12 you will also receive an email for them to select their classes for the upcoming school year.
