Struggling Students at ARS...

Actively participate in on campus and are willing to work with other students in groups. Disengage from hands-on activities and/or do not do well working with others in small groups.

Attend on campus learning weekly.

Are absent more than one day a month or an accumulation of four days a grading quarter.

Complete and submit online assignments that meet academic integrity standards.

Submits work that does not meet academic integrity standards.
Remain on pace in online coursework (no more than one week behind). Are missing more than one week's worth of assignments in one or more courses.
Does well completing work through an online digital platform. Are unable or unwilling to work digitally and prefer paper/pencil assignments.
Advocate for their learning by seeking support and communicating their needs to their teacher and willing to ask for help with then don't understand. Do not take initiative to seek support and communicate their needs to their teacher(s).
Designate a learning space at home that is free of distractions and allows the students to complete and submit work successfully. The learning environment does not consistently support focused work or successful task completion.
Have a learning coach available at home that supports their learning appropriately. Do not have a learning coach available at home that supports their learning appropriately.
