Mrs. Catherine Preston, Principal
Mrs. Preston is excited to serve as Principal of Athens Renaissance School! She previously served and educated as an elementary classroom teacher and instructional technology facilitator in Limestone County Schools before joining Athens Renaissance School in 2020. She earned her bachelors degree in elementary education from The University of Alabama and her master of arts as well as her education specialist degree in instructional leadership from the University of West Alabama. Mrs. Preston is a native of Limestone County. She is married to Ben Preston of East Limestone and they have two daughters, Savannah and Everly. Mrs. Preston also has two yorkiepoo puppies, Rosie and Remi, that love spending time outdoors. Mrs. Preston and her family are active members of Fairview Baptist Church of East Limestone. They enjoy spending time outside, attending volleyball and softball games, and playing a family game of Rummikub.

Mrs. Kendra Draper, Assistant Principal
Kendra Draper serves as the Assistant Principal for ARS. She began her career in education in 2009. She holds a Bachelor's Degree inEarly Childhood Education, a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership. Mrs. Draper is married with two children. She enjoys reading, shopping and organizing. Mrs. Draper believes that education should continue to evolve to prepare students for the rapidly changing world they live in. She feels that Athens Renaissance provides not only an impeccable academic environment, but also a space in which creativity is cultivated.
