Nurse Whitney is a certified RN that serves Athens Renaissance in many ways.

• Serves as a health education resource person for lesson planning in health and safety.
• Conducts in-service workshops with employees concerning the prevention, identification and treatment of communicable/transmittable diseases and other health threats.
• Informs teachers of health conditions of individual students and what their role will be in the overall treatment plan.
• Promotes the health and well-being of school personnel through counseling and consultation.

 

If any medication or medical devices are needed while your student is on campus, you will need to complete the School Medication Prescriber form. This form must be signed by a doctor and then hand delivered directly to Nurse Whitney along with the labeled and unopened medication.
